Start sharing from within Obsidian and you get a secret, unguessable link. Your collaborators don't need a Peerdraft account — they can join instantly from their Obsidian vaults or browsers using the link.

Even without using Obsidian, collaborators get a full Markdown editing experience in any browser: live cursors, real-time sync, the same document your vault is connected to. Works for both live sessions and long-term shares.

Keep entire folders (including subfolders) in sync across vaults. New documents created by anyone in a shared folder appear instantly for everyone. Your collaborators' vaults stay up to date automatically.

Get notified in Obsidian the moment a collaborator starts working on a shared document. See their cursor move in real time. No polling, no refreshing. Changes appear as they happen.

With fleeting sessions, no content ever passes through Peerdraft servers. Documents sync peer-to-peer via WebRTC, end-to-end encrypted directly between you and your collaborators. The session ends when you close the document, leaving no trace.

Keep documents and folders in sync over days, weeks, or months. Persistent shares support offline and async editing. Make your changes whenever, and everything merges automatically when you're back online. Only you can stop the share.

Shared files stay in sync in both directions, even when they're not open in Obsidian. Changes from collaborators are written to disk immediately, so any tool reading your vault always sees the latest version. And changes made by scripts or AI agents on your end are picked up and synced out automatically. All of this happens as long as Obsidian is running.
